Start out with your base. Resize, crop, etc.

Add a levels layer, and click auto levels.

Add a vibrance layer, and input these settings: vibrance: 100, saturation: 100.

Add a gradient map layer, and use the 4th gradient in Teeny McTeen Girl. Set this layer to exclusion 23% opacity.

Duplicate your base, and bring it to the top. Apply a high pass filter (Filter>Other>High Pass) with a radius of 10. Set it on soft light 100% opacity.

Add a photo filter with a cooling filter (80) at 25%.

Add this texture by
jordansavas, and set it to soft light 100% opacity.

Add a brightness-contrast layer, and input these settings: brightness: -20, contrast: 20.

Add a new layer of ffffff, and set it to soft light 100% opacity.

Add another brightness-contrast layer, and input these settings: brightness: -20, contrast: 20.

Add a new layer of 404040, and set if to lighten 100% opacity.

Add a new layer of 2a1409, and set it to difference 75% opacity. Flatten.

Add this texture also by
jordansavas, and set it to screen 100% opacity.

Duplicate your new base, and bring it to the top. Set it to luminosity 50% opacity.

Duplicate your new base again, and bring it to the top. Set it to darken 60% opacity.

Merge your layers, and either sharpen the icon and fade sharpen at 40% or duplicate your new base, and sharpen the top layer and set it to Normal 40%.
