I know I have really updated that much lately. Grading freshman English essays is no joke! *headdesk* Here it is Thanksgiving Day, and what am I doing? orz

After this quarter is over, I'll be busy baking and stuff for Christmas, so I won't be able to be on very much in December. I've been having Christmas vibes since before October, lol! *looks at mug of coffee which is basically an eggnog latte*

Here are 49 icons from various icontests, challenges, and battles. I've really tried to experiement a little more with colors, compositions, and text. Lately, I've also branched out in what I icon. I've started to icon Kdramas again and am beginning to icon Kpop idols! ^^ Hope you enjoy them!

We had some snow (technically ice) today. I heard a lot of people were freaking out, and a lot of grocery stores were out of milk, bread, and starter logs. I just sit back and laugh at my fellow Southerners. For most of my elementary years, I lived in the Midwest and the Northwest. I know what snow is like, and this "frost" that we got is nothing. So I just sit back in the house, sipping my tea. :D

The whole town basically shutdown. Even the Air Force base shut down, so Dad didn't have to go to work today. School was cancelled, and our homeschool co-op, which was supposed to start tomorrow, was cancelled too. The only thing that came through was the mail. Through rain, sleet, or hail. . . right?

We spent the whole morning cleaning the living room. Dad just finished tiling and sealing it, so Mom and us girls helped move the furniture back. The rest of this week will be devoted to my switching rooms with my youngest sister.

I would rather have been on the computer. :P Oh, well.

I think I'm going to change my layout yet again. I really liked this one, but I think it's time for a bit of change!

I'm so excited about seeing VDT in 3D, hopefully on opening night if all goes well! I wish I could go to Korea and see it in 4D; I want to go back to Korea, anyways.

Right now, I'm just trying to get through the rest of this semester. Then only one more semester until graduation! YES!!!!!!!!!!

It's really depressing when you are drained physically and running out of creativity.

I've been pretty busy this week helping with our church's VBS/Music Day Camp. It's really draining, but it's fun! :D

Despite the trailer coming out, I feel like I'm running out of ideas as far as icons goes. And it can get irritating when everyone else is doing the same thing you are. *sigh*

I may just concentrate on other fandoms until the initial crazy faze is over.

I really need some creativity badly. :P

The Winter Olympics has been really thrilling so far! I really enjoyed the Opening Ceremony, especially the parts with the Indians and the Irish jigging! The punk style was a bit weird though.

I'm mostly cheering for Korea, especially in speed skating, short track, and ladies figure skating. The Koreans have been doing pretty well thus far inspite of the crash in short track. I'm sure they'll make up for that, though! I'm really looking forward to the ladies' figure skating which starts on Tuesday. Such a LOOOOOOOONG wait!!!!!!!!!!! Lol.

Tonight will complete the men's skating. I really hope Plushenko wins the gold! I also like the Japanese Takahashi, the Czech Brezina, and the Canadian Chen. Lysacek was okay, I suppose. I didn't really like his style. *shrugs*

I was really happy to see Lindsay Vonn win the gold, despite her shin injury. I hope she does well in her other event as well!

I just watched BBC's version of Sense and Sensibility last week. I think they did a pretty good job with it minus a few scenes. I still like the Emma Thompson version, though. I think it's still 50-50 for me.

Being lately inspired by S&S, I made a series of textures with the Dashwood sisters in mind. I hope to post some icon-sized textures as well. But here are the wallpaper-sized ones. Enjoy!
