I know I have really updated that much lately. Grading freshman English essays is no joke! *headdesk* Here it is Thanksgiving Day, and what am I doing? orz

After this quarter is over, I'll be busy baking and stuff for Christmas, so I won't be able to be on very much in December. I've been having Christmas vibes since before October, lol! *looks at mug of coffee which is basically an eggnog latte*

Here are 49 icons from various icontests, challenges, and battles. I've really tried to experiement a little more with colors, compositions, and text. Lately, I've also branched out in what I icon. I've started to icon Kdramas again and am beginning to icon Kpop idols! ^^ Hope you enjoy them!

My next batch of icons will be posted soonish. I decided to icon some more Kpop idols for somein30. More experimentation coming up!

So, I decided to participate in Round 1 at somein30. I was so excited when the mods decided open the community! ^^ The theme for this round sounded really interesting, so I decided that I wanted to do extra hard mode for this round. It was called extra hard mode for a reason, lol! I did experience some frustration and wasn't happy with some of the icons, but overall, I was pleased with them. Some of the themes were conflicting, so I had to get really creative. #3 was hard because adding a light texture to an already bright and vibrant icon is pretty difficult. I almost wish I had chosen a different fandom because some of themes were difficult to find caps for. I didn't realize there weren't very many full body shots or faraway shots. ^^' I think some of them turned out pretty well though like #2, 10, and 13.

I thought about doing a Kim Yu-na set because I wasn't quite happy with some of my Emma icons. I also thought about doing two sets, but since I've started working again, I didn't have as much time as I planned.

Since abyss_valkyrie  so kindly invited me to join, I decided to try doing icons10in20....

I've only done 20in20's, so this was a new experience, but I really enjoyed it! The hardest one was probably villain because Yu-na has a wholesome image, and the only real villain I could think of (think the Sochi fiasco) was too controversial plus I didn't want to icon her (whose name should not be mentioned). Anyways, the fanclub for the Korean National Soccer team is called the Red Devils, so that's why I chose to icon in Yu-na and Big Bang in their "the Shouts of the Reds, United Korea" shirts.

So. . . . the 12 days of Christmas thing just didn't work. OTL Yeah, epic fail. Maybe next time I should make it shorter. :P

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I know I did. ^^ I'm excited about New Years, too! ;) I start my new job on Tuesday. I was starting to get a little nervous since my internship would end this month, but God provided! :D
