birdienl gave me the following questions:
1. What's your least favourite period drama, and why?
I guess it would have to be Persuasion (BBC version). I actually like the story, but there were several things in the BBC version I didn't particularly care for. First of all, I can never think of Ciaran Hinds as Captain Wentworth. Ever since I saw him in a short clip of The Mayor of Castorbridge in my British novel class, I could not think of him as anybody but the Mayor! Also, Anne isn't very pretty. I don't think that Jane Austen meant for Anne to be bad-looking. Another thing that I disliked was the circus scene. It didn't fit at all!
There are probably other period dramas that I don't like, but since I don't watch the ones that I don't like it's not really a problem, lol! :D
2. What's your favourite historical period, and why?
That's really a hard one since I love so many. I would have to say my favorite time period is Regency England (and next would be WWII). I love it because some of my most favorite works were written during that time period (obviously, Jane Austen). Also, I just love their clothes! And probably because I love learning about the royal families. :D Not to mention because I just LOVE history! :D
3. If you could meet Lucy from Narnia and ask her one question, what would it be?
Can I go to Narnia with you? Lol. No, I would ask her, "What is it like to be with Aslan?"
4. What talent would you like to have?
I wish I could sing better. Not that I'm off-key or anything right now! :D
5. If you could spend 1000 euro's (or dollars in your case) on a charity, which would it be?
Samaritan's Purse probably. I usually help with their Operation Christmas Child, and I know it's a great organization that helps the needy all around the world while presenting the Gospel to them.
