There have been better days. . . but there have been worse days, too

We had some snow (technically ice) today. I heard a lot of people were freaking out, and a lot of grocery stores were out of milk, bread, and starter logs. I just sit back and laugh at my fellow Southerners. For most of my elementary years, I lived in the Midwest and the Northwest. I know what snow is like, and this "frost" that we got is nothing. So I just sit back in the house, sipping my tea. :D

The whole town basically shutdown. Even the Air Force base shut down, so Dad didn't have to go to work today. School was cancelled, and our homeschool co-op, which was supposed to start tomorrow, was cancelled too. The only thing that came through was the mail. Through rain, sleet, or hail. . . right?

We spent the whole morning cleaning the living room. Dad just finished tiling and sealing it, so Mom and us girls helped move the furniture back. The rest of this week will be devoted to my switching rooms with my youngest sister.

I would rather have been on the computer. :P Oh, well.
